Sobertown has saved my life from being in a dark pit of drowning in alcohol. With constant contact from Drifter and many members of this community all sharing similar experiences.

Communication through chat, telegram messages, and zooms was a massive help to me, just knowing you’re not alone is an amazing feeling!

Sobertown Podcast I listened to each day to keep me focused and there was also Sobertown Toolbox on the website with help when and if needed.

I am stronger, more confident, happier person all because of the Sobertown community.

I am so grateful to have this safe haven I call my home, my family…Sobertown.

I have learned about sober town podcast in November last year by noticing a post with an invitation to join a sobertrain zoom. I was curious and decided to join. It was a great pleasure to discover a wonderful group of like-minded people who were very supportive on my early stage of looking for alcohol freedom. With the time I became a regular in one meeting once a week where a group of people extended into a group chat beyond the weekly meeting to exchange further ideas/inspirations/development topics related to the recovery journey. That is where I learned about additional resources like the podcast and the website. In August I had a privilege to join a zoom with a special guest Dr. Hammer, which was very insightful and it has become my daily practice that supports my mental well-being to date. I would like to thank Sobertown for creating such a space where people can find support and inspiration to pursue their alcohol freedom journey. A special thanks to Fluffy for sharing invite to sobertrain zoom with me that made huge difference in my journey.

Sobertown Podcast has been instrumental in my recovery. The platform gave me a space to be seen and heard. I was able to be vulnerable and learn how to navigate a new life and sobriety. New to the Sobertown but I feel my draw here deserves my testimony. Someone who suffers addiction for over fifty years, I felt this welcome here in that while I might loose my path again, all my time fighting for my sobriety matters.

You serve up so much compassion and attention for those needing direction on your FB feed, where I can often check in quietly. As a highly anxious, introvert, never has there been pressure for me to connect.

I love that you bring amazing stories from others similar to me in your podcasts or especially from new frontiers presenting insight and guidance, opening me inspirationly in my continuous fight for sobriety.

I've been across many travels online, but I'm feeling here I'm on the right road. One day I hope for the bravery to venture onto a Zoom allowing myself more connection.

Can't wait to see what's next to enlighten my spiritual and mind bending path in recovery.

I can't say enough good things about this community. I was actually sober before but I was white knuckling it and now I'm back to almost 9 months because of this community. I feel so much freaking better my anxiety and depression are almost completely gone and I feel way stronger than I ever did before. I don't know what it is about having a community support online zoom meetings that makes that much of a difference but it just helps It really does and these people this community is worth its weight and gold. Thank you.
